Great time from beginning to end. John was awesome would do this again in a heartbeat. We limited out in 4 hours and it seemed like the trip just began. Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed, maybe if the weather does not help. John will put you on the fish.

Wow! What can I say?!? What an experience, we had 1st Timers as well as experienced anglers aboard and the crew was extremely helpful in their coaching and their passion to get us on the fish! Would double back to Topsail, NC just to fish with these guys!

I can’t say enough about Captain John & his mate Zack! We started the day off with a warm greeting & introduction from both. Captain John had a plan for the day which definitely panned out! We started with trolling where we did catch fish. Then moved to bottom fishing. Captain John kept us on fish all day! Zack was amazing he was baiting hooks, guiding us while reeling the fish in, taking fish off the hook, & cleaning the boat! It was very impressive!! They were both very personable & had a great sense humor! Myself & the 4 others in my group highly recommend OMC Fishing Adventures! We definitely can’t wait for our next trip with them!

Six of us went on this trip and all of us had a awesome time. John navigated us to a spot that had both King Mackerel and Mahi Mahi and almost everyone in our party caught at least two fish. We strongly recommend that if you are looking for a great time and a big haul hook up with Captain John

We had a great trip with OMC this morning. Captain John was very knowledgeable about the ocean and where we needed to go to catch some fish. I learned quite a bit about bait balls and what to look for in the ocean when I go out again. His first mate was very helpful and always handed off the pole to my daughters when a fish was hooked. My dad, daughters and I had a fantastic time! We just finished eating the king mackerel for dinner. Highly recommend!

My family and I give Captain John and his mate Tim 5 stars. They were awesome. It was my first time out. I was extremely nervous and sick. Forecast was for calm winds and 2ft seas we ended up with 15mph winds and a very choppy sea. It was Hot and in August so fishing was tough but Captain John went above and beyond and put us on some fish. No doubt had I not been on board my husband and son would have been able to do more bottom fishing and had a bigger haul because Captain never gave up and was putting us on the fish. We highly recommend OMC so book today and support these veterans and thank them for their service and sacrifice. My husband plans to book a fall trip with them and he can’t wait.

Capt John and Mate Tim worked their butts off getting us to fish, and with changing bait, changing trolling speed, and great conversation, all while catching King and Spanish Mackerel. It was a great day with great equipment and many laughs. Capt John gave us a tip for preparing the Mack! We got them into nuggets, made sure we removed any red portions, and wrapped w bacon. Captain John’s KNOWS where the fish are at! We did a little close shore fishing and off shoring fishing and did not come home empty handed!!! We caught many different types of fishes. OMC runs a clean and safe boat. They made sure we were understanding of what is going at all times. They were very personable and provided lots of laughs and enjoyment all day long. I would recommend this crew for anyone looking for some good times and a lot of fishing. I will most definitely be booking again in the future.

Bro! Captain John and Mate Tim did a fantastic job of putting us on fish…we however fell a bit short of pulling in the big ones! Had a blast and caught enough “keepers” for a fish taco feast! Would absolutely go again and highly recommend them!

Phenomenal experience! By far the best fishing charter I’ve ever been on! John and Tim are a wonderful crew. They figured out what we were after from the beginning and ensured we got it. They went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience and even taught us multiple techniques for pulling in some big fish. Highly recommend!

Captain John keeps meticulous records of where the fish are, and takes you right to them. We were fighting fish constantly all day long once we got to his spots off shore. The boat is swift and stable. It is well equipped with electronics and safety features. It is just about the right size for a party of two. Any more could get a little cramped unless some people are just sitting in the bow enjoying a sunny day at sea. FYI there is no head on the boat.
